You may want to connect your laptop to your television in order to view files at a larger size, see details in pictures or most often, watch movies. Connecting your laptop to your TV to watch video is simple with the proper cables and settings.

Check your laptop for a video cable connection. Many laptops come with an S-video port, which is also supported by most all television sets on the market.

GATEWAY MD7818U 15.6-inch LCD panel
Acer Aspire AS5735-6211 15.6-inch LCD panel
HP Pavilion ZV6000 15.4 ULTRA BRIGHT LCD SCREEN

You may also find a VGA port on your laptop but this port is only usable on HDTVs. DVI and HDMI ports are also possibilities that provide very clear picture quality. DVI ports are typically found on Mac computers.

Make sure your TV is compatible with your laptop. More often than not, your TV will at least have an S-video connection. If not, you will have one of the other connection types. Each type is usually easily labeled on the back of the television.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10 10.1 inch LCD Screen Panel
COMPAQ 610 15.6-inch WXGA HD LCD SCREEN LED
HP PAVILION G60 16 inch LCD Screen(Size: 16.0 inchs
Resolution: 1366*768 pixels )

Purchase or order the right cable. Double-check that you're ordering the right cable or you will not be able to properly use your laptop on your TV.

You may need to order a separate audio cable as well in order to get sound to travel from your laptop to your TV.Attach the cable to your TV. Then attach the other end of the cable to the video connection port your laptop. Turn both devices on.

Set your television to the proper setting in order to view the laptop activity. Many times, the TV has its own separate PC setting. In some cases, to see the PC, you'll need to tune to a specific video channel, such as Video 1 or Video 2.Change your laptop's screen resolution if necessary.

Sometimes, TVs can't handle higher screen resolutions that your laptop may be set to. Try putting your laptop's screen resolution at 800x600. Keep adjusting the screen resolution until you have a picture on your television screen.

TOSHIBA SATELLITE M100 14.1-inch LCD Screen
Gateway M-7315u 15.4 WXGA LAPTOP LCD Screen Glossy
<a title="HP PAVILION ZV6000 15.4" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-154-Inch/HP-PAVILION-ZV6000.html" SCREEN? Dropping your laptop will usually cause the screen to crack or break, meaning that you will need to replace the screen.

Nevertheless, having a computer technician replace your laptop screen can be very expensive. If you replace your laptop screen, you can save yourself a lot of money. To replace a screen, you do not have to be technically inclined. You just need to follow a few simple directions.

ACER Aspire One A110L 8.9-inch LCD Screen(ACER Aspire One A110L LCD )
DELL VOSTRO 1000 15.4 inch LCD Screen WXGA GLOSSY(DELL VOSTRO 1000 lcd )

Verify that all that is broken is the laptop screen. To do this all you will need to do is plug an external monitor into your laptop. If everything is working correctly with the external monitor, you can rest assured that it is just the screen that needs to be replaced.

Remove your laptop's battery and disconnect the laptop from the electrical outlet. Locate the screw covers, which are usually located on screen's surrounding frame. Remove the screw covers by prying back the corner to see if there is a screw underneath. There are normally four to six screws that need to be removed. Make sure that you remove all screws and screw covers and set them aside.

ACER ASPIRE 5220 15.4-inch LCD SCREEN(Size: 15.4 inchs
Resolution: 1280*800 pixels)
Dell Latitude E6400 14.1-inch LCD Screen(Dell Latitude E6400 LCD)
<a title="HP PAVILION ZV6000 15.4" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-154-Inch/HP-PAVILION-ZV6000.html" SCREEN? It will normally snap loose. Go around the entire frame to make sure that it is completely separated from the screen.

Once this is done, you should see the screen in its metal frame and the inverter board is normally down below. You should now be able to separate the screen from the plastic shell behind it.

Detach the cables connecting your screen to your laptop. The video cable is usually the long ribbon cable taped to the rear of your screen. Remove the tape and then disconnect the cable. Also disconnect the power cable located between the screen and the inverter. You may also need to remove the inverter. To do this, remove the inverter screws and then unplug the power connectors on each side of the inverter board. Unscrew the screws that hold the screen to the frame.

Take out the old screen and replace it with the new one, screwing the new screen into the metal frame. Fortunately, there are several products out there that let you connect your TV to your computer using nothing but a free USB 2.0 port.

Plug your adapter into the free USB 2.0 port on your computer. Wait for the device driver to install.

Connect the VGA, DVI or HDMI cable to your television. If you're using a PC, continue to Step 3. If you're using a Mac, skip to Step 4.

Open your computer Control Panel and select "Appearance and Personalization," then click "Connect to an External Display." Decide whether you want to extend your desktop onto the TV or duplicate the display. Select the appropriate option from the "Display" menu and click "OK."

Open "System Preferences" and click on "Displays." Click on "Arrangement" and follow the prompts. Select whether you want your monitor to duplicate your current display or extend your desktop.

Samsung LTN141AT07 14.1 inch LCD SCREEN(Size: 14.1 inches Resolution: 1280*800 pixels )
LG LP141WP2-TLB1 14.1 inch LCD Screen Panel(Size: 14.1 inches Resolution: 1440*900 pixels )
DELL VOSTRO 1400 14.1 WXGA Glossy LAPTOP LCD SCREEN(Size: 14.1 inchs
Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
GATEWAY W451U 14.1 WXGA Glossy LAPTOP LCD SCREEN(Size: 14.1 inchs
Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
<a title="Acer TRAVELMATE 2480-2943 14.1" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-141-Inch/Acer-2480-2943-LCD-Screen.html" ? And although your music player’s headphones are great for listening to music while walking or running, wearing headphones won’t do (and in some states, is illegal) while you’re driving.

Alternatively, burning music to a CD can be substantially time-consuming, and portable or built-in speakers are a poor substitute for the speakers in your car. An FM transmitter gives you an easy way to play music from your digital audio player over your car’s speakers.

LG LP154WX5-TLA1 15.4 inch Lcd Screen(Size: 15.4 inches Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)
LG LP173WD1-TLA1 17.3 INCH LCD SCREEN(Size: 17.3 Resolution: 1600*900 pixels )
APPLE MACBOOK 13.3 inch WXGA LCD SCREEN LP133WX1 A+(Size: 13.3 inch)

Whether you want to listen to music, podcasts, audio books, or the sound from a movie playing on your media player, FM transmitters allow the entire car to enjoy the audio. Additionally, FM transmitters are portable and easy to install, so you can even take it on a road trip in a friend’s vehicle. In this article, we’ll examine what you should look for when purchasing an FM transmitter and walk you through the setup of an FM transmitter in your car.

TOSHIBA SATELLITE U305-S5077 LAPTOP LCD Display(TOSHIBA SATELLITE U305-S5077)
<a title="HP PAVILION DV9500 17.0" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-17-Inch/HP-DV9500-LCD-Screen.html" LP171WP4? The FM signal is a low power output that has a range of 10 feet, under ideal conditions. Because radio stations in any given area may already be using many FM frequencies, FM transmitters let you select, either by choosing a specific frequency or switching among a preset list, an FM channel that’s free of interference.

Depending on the prevalence of FM signals in your area, strong FM signals may overpower your FM transmitter, so you’ll hear static or other radio stations bleeding over the audio from your media player. If you live in a heavily populated area, the FM transmitter may produce static on nearly every frequency you select. There’s a limited signal range because, by U.S. federal law, the FM transmitters can only transmit at full strength up to 10 feet, and after that, the FM signal must begin to die out. For best results, try the 87.7 to 91.9MHz frequencies.

They are generally free of radio traffic, because they are reserved for nonprofit radio stations. Check out our “Other Options” sidebar to find out another way to hear audio from your digital media player on your car’s speakers.

Toshiba Tecra M9 14.1 inch LCD Screen( )
Compaq Presario F500 15.4 inch LCD Screen(Size: 15.4 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
Apple PowerBook G4 Aluminum A1085 17 LCD SCREEN WXGA+(Size: 17.0 inchs
Resolution: 1440x900 pixels )
Acer Aspire One D250 10.1-inch LCD Screen(Size: 10.1 inchs Resolution: 1024x600 pixels )
Acer Aspire One Pro 531H 10.1-inch LCD Screen(Size: 10.1 inchs Resolution: 1024x600 pixels )

USB Wireless FM Transmitter (for apple cellphone user)

For proper operation of the USB transmitter you must keep the following in mind. Make sure connect the audio plug to the speaker/earphone output jack on your computer and select the right transmission frequency. Make sure the computer system volume (from CONTROL PANEL) is NOT set too low. It should be set to Med/High level. Make sure you increase the volume level of the media software you are using (e.g. Windows Media Player, iTunes, WinAmp, etc.). And rightfully so since I've wasted, err spend a lot of time figuring out how to get it up and running. But first how this came all about.

Compaq Presario R3000 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Gateway NX560XL LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )

A little history
The company where I work occasionaly sells old office equipment to its employees for a small amount of money. Sometimes it's tables and chairs, sometimes old lab equipment. You know, tech freaks love that kind of stuff. At the top of the whishlist are old PC's and laptops, which can be put to good use on all kind of home projects. So, on one of these occasions I ended up with a Compaq Armada 4120, including a docking station.
It had Windows 95 installed on it and nothing else. But that was oke with me since I had other plans for it anyway; it was to become my Linux playground. It hardly cost me anything and was in no way needed for my daily computational needs, so I could wreck it without causing a problem. Together with a friend I started out to get things started. First we figured out how to repartition the harddisk, in order to save Win95, add a Linux partition and have some swapspace as well. Unfortunately this Armada came without the CD-ROM craddle, which would have made installing any Linux distribution a lot easier. Either a disk set had to be created or a network install attempted. Of course the latter was a bigger challange so we choose that. A spare PCMCIA Ethernet card was put in the slot, a PCMCIA setup disk created from the intended distribution (we used Redhat 6.1 Cartman at the time) and put in the disk drive. Then we fired her up. Well, as you've probably guessed we loaded Redhat, compiled a custom kernel tailored to the Armada and setup LILO to play around with various settings. Once that kernel was pretty much the way we wanted it, I started exploring the motherload of software and services that were available on the machine. Configuring all this stuff, especially the X server was very educational, so it served its purpose very well.

Of course the Internet proved a valuable source of information on this. These are the pages I used to get most of the stuff working.

LTN184KT01-A01 18.4-inch LCD Screen(Size: 18.4 inches Resolution: 1680*945 pixels )
Sony Vaio VGN AW180FU Series 18.4-inch LCD Screen(Size: 18.4 inches Resolution: 1680*945 pixels )
LG LP173WD1-TLA1 17.3 INCH LCD SCREEN(Size: 17.3 Resolution: 1600*900 pixels )

It lead me to believe that there is a TI ThunderLAN chip in there. So I started with that driver. I first tried it with the 2.2 kernel I have been using until now, which is modular, so I could load the driver on runtime. 'insmod tlan duplex=2' would load the driver and get things going. Well it didn't. After trying several other drivers to no avail I focused my attention to the 2.4.2 kernel sources. Maybe it contained a better driver which may work on this setup after all. After building a few monolithic kernels I still didn't get the result I was hoping for.

Dell Inspiron 9200 LCD Screen(Size: 17.0 inchs;Resolution: 1440x900 pixels )
Dell Inspiron 6000 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Dell Inspiron E1501 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )

Time to call in the experts. From the driver sources in the kernel I found a mailing list on sourceforge which is dedicated to the TLAN chipset support on Linux, moderated by the driver maintainer Sam Chessman. I had hoped that someone on the list had seen the problem before and could point me to a rapid solution, but no one did. Instead Sam provided very good step by step guidance through the process of determining the cause of the problem.
One thing that stood out was the fact that the Ethernet chip wasn't to be found on the PCI bus. So how was it hooked up to the system? What I had noted in the Win95 driver was that there is a parallel port setting in there. Curious. Then someone mentioned pocket adapters. They were popular for a few years after which PCMCIA and USB adapters took the market by storm. They were dongle style parallel port adapters which create a Ethernet port. D-link and Xircom were the prominent brands. Together with this conversation this lead me to believe that maybe there is no TLAN chip in there after all. After all, it was only an unconfirmed statement. Now with more questions than answers there remained only one thing to do. To open up the docking station...

Gateway MA7 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Gateway NX510S LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 )
LP089WS1-TLA1 LCD Panel(Size: 8.9 inchs;Resolution: 1024*600 pixels)
HP Pavilion ZT3000 15.4 inch Lcd Screen(Size: 15.4 inches Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)
IBM ThinkPad Z60M 15.4 inch Lcd Screen(Size: 15.4 inches Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)

How to Use a Digital Picture Frame As a PC Monitor

Digital picture frames were created primarily to display photo files. Improvements to the technology allows many digital picture frames to use a direct peripheral connection to perform as a color display monitor for your computer. These picture frames can be used without the need for a dedicated video-card connection and often without the need to download and install additional device drivers. Most digital frames already have the necessary software for secondary display function, giving it plug-and-play operability.

Connect the digital picture frame to a USB port on your PC with a USB cable. Power up the computer and turn the power on for the digital picture frame.

The large connector on one end of the frame's USB cable should go into the USB port of the PC with the mini-connector end connecting to the picture frame.

HP Pavilion ZX5000 15.4 inch Lcd Screen(Size: 15.4 inches Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)
Gateway M500 15.4 inch Lcd Screen(Size: 15.4 inches Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)

Allow the PC to detect the picture frame. The Windows XP operating system and above should go through an automatic detection process, applying the necessary drivers. If the drivers are not available in your operating system you will have to supply the drivers yourself, either by downloading them from the picture frame manufacturer's website or by loading the drivers from a CD included with your picture frame. Apply the necessary drivers by running them from the CD or from your hard drive.

ASUS F5Z 15.4 inch Lcd Screen(Size: 15.4 inches Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)
ASUS M51 15.4 inch Lcd Screen()

Choose the desired settings for your digital picture frame through the display settings. Now they are a reality for the average home computer user. The very idea that it is possible to simply touch, tap and slide your finger over the computer screen has made even the most stoic technophobe sit up and pay attention. The average non-geek computer user has to wonder how to install such a monitor and if they could do it without a visit from a computer pro. The answer is that almost anyone can install these monitors in a few minutes.

Make sure you have all the necessary parts. When you unpack your new monitor, make certain that all of the necessary cables were included. If not, be certain to get the cables recommended by the manufacturer of your monitor.

Connect the monitor to the computer. Turn the computer off. There are two scenarios that will be possible when you begin to connect the cables. In the first, they will be connected permanently to the monitor and you will need to plug them into the appropriate port on the computer.

The second is that they are all detached and need to be attached to both the monitor and computer. They will not only be color coded but they will also only fit in their appropriate slots. After all of the cables are attached, plug in the power supply to both the monitor and the electrical source.

Turn on the monitor and computer. After boot up, the monitor may work immediately. Install the included software anyway. It will make the screen work as it was intended. Follow the instructions and any onscreen prompts until installation is complete.

Dell Inspiron 6000 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
FM Transmitter(iPhone FM Transmitters )
FM Transmitter Hands-free Car Kit For iPhone 3Gs(Suitable for all iPhones(includes iPhone 3Gs), iPods (all generations), MP3 players in all vehicles. )
Blackberry FM Transmitter(Hands-free Car Kit For Blackberry )
FM Transmitter with Remote Control for iPod iPhone(The unit includes a remote controller which can be used to control both the FM transmitter itself and audio functions for the iPhone or iPod.)
iPhone FM Transmitter(FM Transmitter with Remote Control for iPod iPhone)
iPhone 3G Touchscreen & 5 Piece Tool Kit(iPhone 3G Touchscreen & 5 Piece Tool Kit)
Double-side Adhesive Tape for iPhone Screen 109mm*52mm(Double-side Adhesive Tape for iPhone)
Dell XN966 USB Optical Mouse original(New Dell USB optical mouse XN966)

How to Fix a Broken DELL Inspiron Mini 10 Laptop LCD Screen

While it may seem like fixing and replacing a screen is a job left only to professionals, everyday computer users with a couple of tools and some careful measures can purchase a new DELL Inspiron Mini 10 LCD screen, remove the old, and install the new in a relatively short amount of time.

Purchase your new LCD screen. Check with your individual manufacturer for more information and for other considerations such as matte screen versus a glossy option, for example (see Resources below).Examine the perimeter (bezel) of your laptop screen. The majority of DELL Inspiron Mini 10 laptop screens will have screw covers visible here. Take your small knife and carefully pop these screw covers off.

Use your small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws around the bevels of your LCD screen. The screws will now be visible thanks to the screw covers you removed with your knife. Store these screws in a safe temporary place, as you will need them again. Consider a small plastic bag for storage.Remove the bezel of your screen. With the covers off and the screws removed, the bezel will easily pop off. Put it carefully aside.Lean the LCD screen forward slightly so as to separate it from the back bezel of the computer.

Examine the exposed LCD screen. There will be screws (usually two) on the metal brackets on each side of the DELL Inspiron Mini 10 LCD screen of your computer. Again, use the small Philips screwdriver and remove these screws. Place them in your plastic bag or other safe place for later. Unscrew the bottom screw on each bracket side first, followed by the upper screw.Remove the LCD screen from the back bezel entirely and lay it in a safe place, such as on a soft cloth or a similar material that will not scratch your screen.

Compaq Presario CQ60-410us 15.6-Inch Laptop LCD ScreenDELL Inspiron Mini 10 laptop LCD screen<a title="TOSHIBA SATELLITE M65-S9092 LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17 inch WXGA+" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-17-Inch/TOSHIBA-SATELLITE-M65-S9092-LCD-screen.html" ?>TOSHIBA SATELLITE M65-S9092 LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17 inch WXGA+"

Remove the tape holding the video cable to the DELL Inspiron Mini 10 LCD screen. It is usually fastened to the back of the LCD screen via this tape, although some computer models will have clip fasteners on each side of the video cable that must be unclipped.Remove the inverter plug from the inverter, if you must replace the inverter as well as the screen. The inverter is located at the bottom center of the LCD screen once the bezel is removed, and the cable plugs into the side of the inverter.

Take your new DELL Inspiron Mini 10 LCD screen and attach the video cable to it via the tape, as before. Additionally, if a new inverter was required, remove the old inverter, slide the new into its place, and take the unplugged inverter cable and plug it into the side of the new inverter.Take the two sets of screws and reinstall them into the side of the metal brackets of the LCD screen. These screens can also be easily purchased from a number of online vendors, including papatek.com, sunvalleyus.com.

Push the bezel back into place over the top of the new DELL Inspiron Mini 10 LCD screen. Take the final screws that you initially removed from the bezel and screw them back in with your screwdriver.

APPLE MA701LL/A 13.3-inch LCD Screen
HannStar HSD089IFW1 WSVGA (Glossy) LCD Screen 8.9-inch
HP COMPAQ NX7400 15.4-inch Glossy LCD Screen
HP PAVILION DV7-1100 CTO 17-inch WXGA+ LCD Screen Glossy
DELL STUDIO 1555 15.6-inch WXGA HD LCD SCREEN LED
ACER Aspire 5050 14.1-inch Screen
Compaq PRESARIO V3000 14.1-inch LCD Screen
HP Pavilion DV2800 14.1-inch Screen
Compaq PRESARIO V3800 14.1-inch LCD Screen
<a title="ACER ASPIRE 5515-5879 15.4" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-154-Inch/5515-5879-25213.html" SCREEN? The possibilities for controlling other computers (including keyboard, video, and mouse functions or "KVM") from one

central computer are almost endless. KVM switches come in many design configurations and price levels and are available for purchase online.

Determine what functions the KVM switch must perform; different types of KVM switches can accomplish different tasks. If you want to simply send a video

signal from one "control" computer tower to eight stand-alone monitors, for example, an "8-output video" KVM switch will work. The KVM switch will feature

one set of "master inputs" for the control computer, and eight video outputs. These video outputs will accept DB9 type ports. DB9 ports are blue and shaped

like a parallelogram. Purchase the KVM switch that meets your needs and your budget.

Turn off the control computer. Place the KVM switch box near the control computer.Plug the hardwired DB9 video plug coming out of the KVM switch into the

corresponding DB9 video plug on your computer tower. Plug your control computer monitor into the KVM "output" switch set aside for the control monitor.

Connect the video monitors to the DB9 output ports on the KVM switch. If the video monitors are located very far away from the control computer and the KVM

switch, you may need to purchase extension cables to span this distance. These extension cables are available at local computer parts shops and online. They

will have one male DB9 end and one female DB9 end. Plug the extension cable into the satellite monitor cable and then connect the other end of the extension

into the KVM switch. If any of the monitors are of the DVI type, purchase an adapter to convert the DVI monitor to DB9.

Boot the control computer and switch on the control computer monitor screen. You will see the desktop boot to the control computer video screen. The signal

to your monitor is coming out of the KVM switch.Turn on the satellite video monitors at their power switches. On the KVM switch box, select any of the

satellite monitors that you want to receive video signal. You can turn off a video feed to any of the satellite monitors by turning off that monitor's

assigned feed button on the KVM box. The image coming from the control computer tower, and seen on the control computer monitor, will display across all

satellite monitors when they are selected "on."

Adjust your video card adapter settings if you would like to attempt to "stretch" the image coming out of the control panel across all satellite monitors in "jumbotron" fashion. Not all video card adapters are capable of this trick, however. Go to Start/ControlPanel/Display/Settings/Monitors to see if your video card allows for "stretching" across more than one desktop field. Creating one large "jumbotron" image using clustered monitor screens often requires use of a special type of video card or KVM switch made for this purpose. These "jumbotron" cards and switches are available online.

USB WIRELESS LAN Adapter(WIRELESS USB LAN Adapter)
Network Device(USB Wireless LAN Adapters )
PCI Wireless LAN Card(Wireless PCI LAN Cards)
wireless lan adapter(RT3070-Chipset)
150Mbps USB Wireless Adapter LAN WIFI 802.11n + Antenna(Support 64/128-bit WEP, complies with 128 bit WPA standard(TKIP/AES), supports MIC, IV Expansion, Shared Key Authentication, IEEE 802.1X)
APPLE MA701LL/A 13.3-inch LCD Screen(Size: 13.3 inch)
<a title="TOSHIBA SATELLITE M65-S9092 LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17 inch WXGA+" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-17-Inch/TOSHIBA-SATELLITE-M65-S9092-LCD-screen.html" ?>TOSHIBA SATELLITE M65-S9092 LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17 inch WXGA+"
Compaq Presario CQ60-410us 15.6-Inch Laptop LCD Screen(Size: 15.6 inch )
Compaq Presario CQ60-420US 15.6-Inch Laptop LCD Screen(Size: 15.6 inchs Resolution: 1366*768 pixels)
HannStar HSD089IFW1 WSVGA (Glossy) LCD Screen 8.9-inch(Size: 8.9 inch)

How to Adjust a Sony VGN AW180FU Series Computer Monitor Screen

Although most individuals are currently utilizing flat panel displays for their computing needs, CRT monitors like the Sony Trinitron offer some advantages, mostly in response time (how quickly an image displays after being processed by the video card) and in refresh rate (how many times per second the image redraws itself). Unlike flat panel displays, CRTs require a bit of adjustment for optimal image display. This process is fairly simple, but it can be time consuming. These LCD Screens can also be easily purchased from a number of online vendors, including papatek.com, sunvalleyus.com.

Utilize the menu button on the front of the Trinitron Sony Vaio VGN AW180FU Series monitor to adjust the standard monitor screen options, including brightness, contrast, RGB color spectrum, and the geometry of the image (e.g. horizontal and vertical picture size). Scroll through the menus utilizing the EZ-navigator picture toggle to move left and right through the options, selecting the option you need by pressing the EZ-navigator control inward toward the Sony Vaio VGN AW180FU Series screen.

Utilize the picture mode button to cycle through a number of presets for image quality, including standard, professional, and dynamic modes. This will alter the hertz running through the machine to display a softer or
crisper image depending on your preference. Do not be thrown off by the labels -- simply cycle through the options and choose the setting you believe looks best for each use, whether you are watching a movie, browsing the net, or playing a game.

Push the input selector button if you have more than one input source hooked up to the Sony Vaio VGN AW180FU Series monitor (such as another computer or a video game console). This will allow you to cycle through the various inputs on the Sony Vaio VGN AW180FU Series monitor, enabling you to quickly flip between looking for something online and playing the latest console video games.

Sony Vaio VGN AW180FU Series 18.4-inch LCD Screen(Size: 18.4 inches Resolution: 1680*945 pixels )
SAMSUNG LTN154AT07 15.4 WXGA GLOSSY LCD Monitor(Size: 15.4 inchs
Resolution: 1280*800 pixels)
HP Compaq nx9010 15-inch LCD Screen(Size: 15.0 inches Resolution: 1024*768 pixels )
DELL INSPIRON E1405 14.1 WXGA LCD Screen(DELL INSPIRON E1405 14.1 WXGA LCD Screen)
<a title="Dell Studio 1536 15.4" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-154-Inch/Dell-Studio-1536.html" Screen? In addition to using a computer to power home entertainment systems and for television viewing, many want the ability to switch to a projector screen. It is easy to connect multiple viewing sources to a single computer.

The Video Card
Connecting viewing sources to a computer is made possible with a monitor switch box or video card. Many high-performance computers are capable of hosting two viewing sources at the same time. To see if your video card is able to power two monitors, first check to see if there are two video outputs on the back of
your video card or read the video card instruction manual. If your video card is unable to support two monitors, consider either installing a second video card or replacing your existing video card with a model that will support dual monitors.
USB 2.0 to DVI Adapter (1080P)(The USB 2.0 Graphic Adapter allows you to connect an extra monitor to your desktop PC or laptop's USB port. )
USB 2.0 to DVI Adapter (1080P) black()
USB 2.0 to DVI Adapter (QWXGA)()

Replacing or installing a new video card is a fairly simple process. While you should always read the manufacturer's instructions, the basic procedure involves opening up your computer, unscrewing and disconnecting the existing video card, and putting the new video card in its place.

The Monitor Switch
If you are unable or not interested in installing a new video card into your machine, you can also support two video displays through the use of a monitor switch. A monitor switch is a set top box that will allow you to switch between monitors externally from you computer.

Making the Connections
Whether connecting to a dual monitor video card or monitor switch, hooking up your projector and computer screen is simple. Most modern projectors have a VGA or SVGA port. This is the standard connection used for PC monitors. If you are working in a Macintosh-based platform, you will need either a projector that supports DVI, which is rare, or a VGA to DVI adapter cable, which is much more common.

To connect your dual displays to a video card, connect the monitor cables directly into the card, using the appropriate adapters. To connect two displays through a monitor switch, connect the computer to the monitor switch using the supplied cable, then connect each screen to the ports in the back of the switch.

Laptop LCD Screen(LCD Screen )
USB 2.0 to DVI Adapter (UXGA)(The USB 2.0 Graphic Adapter allows you to connect an extra monitor to your desktop PC or laptop's USB port. )

Configuring the Computer
Modern operating systems are fully capable of working with two screens. First you will need to browse to either your system preferences or computer properties. From there, you can usually choose to display in dual-screen mode, where each screen is different, or in mirror mode, where the two screens are the same.

Finally, you often will need to calibrate your screens to work with your computer. Fortunately, many operating systems come with presets that make this process very simple. For your computer screen and projector, select its resolution with the appropriate device on (if connected properly the computer should
be able to pick up if there is a monitor connected), and the computer usually can do the rest.

Now whenever you want to switch between displays, either turn the selected display on or flip the knob on your monitor switch.

LTN184KT01-A01 18.4-inch LCD Screen(Size: 18.4 inches Resolution: 1680*945 pixels )
ACER ASPIRE 5738 Series 15.6-inch Lcd Screen Glossy()
DELL STUDIO 1555 15.6-inch WXGA HD LCD SCREEN LED()
Toshiba Satellite A60 15.0-inch LCD Screen(Size: 15.0 inches Resolution: 1024*768 pixels)
Gateway MA7 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Gateway MX7525 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Dell Inpiron B130 LCD Panel 14.1 inch(Dell Inpiron B130 lcd screen )
HP PAVILION DV5-1235DX 15.4 inch WXGA LCD SCREEN(Size: 15.4 inch Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
Toshiba Tecra M9 14.1 inch LCD Screen( )

How to Connect Two DVI LCD SCREENS/Monitors to One PC

Having two monitors connected to your computer gives you expanded options for more productive desktop computing. For example, a web developer can have programming code on one screen and an Internet browser in another to test that code.

This can create a smoother "work flow" that reduces the time it takes to complete tasks and reduce errors. There are several ways to connect multiple monitors to your PC. The items mentioned below address multiple connection solutions.

Check your connections. Ideally, your video card has two DVI ports. If it has only one port, you will not get two separate displays. You can install a "splitter" on the signal cable, but this will only show the same image on both monitors.

If you have one DVI port and one VGA port on the back of your computer, you can obtain a small adapter that will convert the VGA port to DVI. A monitor connected to the VGA port will not have a digital signal, but this should not have a substantial effect on image quality. If you only have a DVI cable and a VGA cable, you can buy an adapter that will convert a DVI port to a VGA port.

Verify that you have the proper cables. Make sure you are not using a DVI-A cable, which is an analog cable that may not be compatible with the DVI port on the back of your monitor. DVI-D and DVI-I are fine.

And lastly, if your monitor has a resolution larger than 1920 x 1200 pixels , that monitor will need a "dual-link" DVI cable, sometimes known as DVI-DL. The page linked below in the References section contains diagrams for identifying the different varieties of DVI cables. If you are connecting a laptop to an external monitor, it may have a "mini DVI" port that needs an adapter to connect to a DVI cable.

Connect your monitors. The best way to do this is to have one monitor already attached, rather than connecting them both at the same time. Otherwise, you may encounter display corruption that will make the problem difficult to troubleshoot.

Check the settings of your newly connected monitors. In Windows, right-click on the desktop, select "Personalize" from the pop-up menu, and click on

"Display Settings." Here you can adjust the settings of both monitors. You can select them from the drop-down menu in the middle of the window, or by clicking on their icons just above that menu.

In Mac OS X, click on the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, select "System Preferences," click on "Displays," and select the "Display" tab.

You may need to click the "Detect Displays" button to get both monitors to appear in this menu. You may need to disable Expose and Spaces before attaching the second monitor.

LTN184KT01-A01 18.4-inch LCD Screen(Size: 18.4 inches Resolution: 1680*945 pixels )
Sony Vaio PCG-TRF 10.6 inch Lcd Screen Panel(Size: 10.6 inches Resolution: 1280x768 pixels)
Compaq NX5000 15.0-inch LCD Screen(Size: 15.0 inches Resolution: 1024*768 pixels)
Gateway MA7 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Dell Inspiron 9200 LCD Screen(Size: 17.0 inchs;Resolution: 1440x900 pixels )
GATEWAY PC MD7820U 15.6 inch LCD Screen(Size: 15.6 inchs;Resolution: 1366*768 pixels)
GATEWAY MD7330U 15.6-inch LCD panel(Size: 15.6 inchs Resolution: 1366*768 pixels )
Gateway MX7525 LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
Dell Inpiron B130 LCD Panel 14.1 inch(Dell Inpiron B130 lcd screen )
TOSHIBA SATELLITE A105-S4034 LCD SCREEN 15.4 inch WXGA GLOSSY(Size: 15.4 inch Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
HP PAVILION DV5-1235DX 15.4 inch WXGA LCD SCREEN(Size: 15.4 inch Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )

How to Hook Up Your PC to Your TV Using a VGA Cord

The line that exists to separate televisions and computer monitors has blurred more and more as technology advances. Many newer TVs can now serve as standard televisions as well as computer monitors. With this new merging of functionality, you can now watch movies that are on your computer's hard drive on your TV.

USB to VGA Adapter((1080P) )
Usb to DVI Adapter(USB 2.0 to DVI Adapter (QWXGA))

You can also free up space by using your monitor as a TV, and simply switching between their functions as needed.

CREATIVE ZEN FM Transmitter
iPod FM Transmitter
iPhone FM Transmitter

Step 1Locate the VGA Port on your TV. Most newer model televisions have one on the rear of the TV. In both cases the screen gets very dark and the image on the screen becomes very faint, barely visible under a bright light. If you suspect the inverter board failure, I know only one reliable way to test that. It’s either replacing the inverter board with a known good one and see if it works, or connecting a known good backlight lamp and see if your presumably bad inverter lights it up.

In most cases I go with the second method – testing the laptop with a known good backlight lamp. Why? Because backlight lamps are pretty much universal. The same backlight lamp will work with many different inverters as long as they have matching connectors. I’ll talk about these connectors later.

The inverter board is located inside the Dell Inspiron E1505 display panel under the Gateway NX560XL LCD Screen. In most laptops you can access the inverter board if you remove the LCD screen bezel. The inverter board has connectors on both ends. The left side of the inverter is connected to the LCD cable. The right side of the inverter is connected to the backlight lamp which is mounted inside the LCD screen. Check out this display diagram.

Gateway NX560XL LCD Screen(Resolution: 1280x800 pixels;Aspect ratio: WXGA, Wide screen )
LP089WS1 (TL)(A1) LCD Panel(Size: 8.9 inchs;Resolution: 1024*600 pixels)
HP PAVILION DV5 SERIES 15.4 WXGA LAPTOP LCD Screen(Size: 15.4 inchs Resolution: 1280*800 pixels)

To make sure that inverter board is getting power from the motherboard (via the LCD cable), you can test it with a multimeter. In my case I connected the “+” lead of the multimeter to the pin 1 on the connector and the “-” lead to the ground trace around the screw hole. I got about 19.4V DC on that side of the inverter, so it’s getting power from the motherboard.

WARNING! If you accidentally short something on the inverter while testing it, you can damage the inverter or even the motherboard. Proceed on your own risk! Not sure? Don’t do that! So, the inverter is getting power from the motherboard, but the Gateway NX560XL LCD Screen is still dark. Apparently, it’s either bad inverter or failed backlight. Let’s test it with a known good backlight.

There are two different types of backlight connectors, you can see them on the picture below. The top one (big) is not as common as the bottom one (small). I do most of my test with a backligth lamp which has a small connector.

DELL VOSTRO 1700 17 WUXGA LCD SCREEN glossy(Size: 17.0 inchs
Resolution: 1920x1200 pixels)
Apple PowerBook G4 Aluminum A1085 17 LCD SCREEN WXGA+(Size: 17.0 inchs
Resolution: 1440x900 pixels )
Acer Aspire 5920 Series 15.4 WXGA LCD SCREEN(Size: 15.4 inchs
Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )

Here’s what I’m going to do:
1. I will unplug the Gateway NX560XL LCD Screen from the right side of the inverter. Basically, I’m unplugging the LCD backligth lamp which is located inside the screen.
2. I will plug in my known good backlight lamp which you can see on the picture below. Please notice that my test backlight lamp is shorter than the screen, but for the test purpose that’s OK.

Finally, when you ready to test the laptop, unplug the LCD screen from the right side of the inverter.Plug in your test backlight lamp and turn on the laptop. In my case, the backlight lamp lights up, so the inverter board works properly.

<a title="COMPAQ PRESARIO CQ50-139WM 15.4" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-154-Inch/CQ50-139WM-25924.html" Screen? This computer has so many layers and screws that a person can quickly become confused and irritated during the disassembly. If you must strip the computer for repairs or upgrading, be sure to pack a lunch, and take a few breaks when you begin to feel overwhelmed. As long as you don't misplace any screws, the disassembly shouldn't be too painful.

Preparing the Inspiron for Disassembly
To perform this procedure, you'll need a small Phillips-head screwdriver, a small plastic wedge or a flat-head screwdriver, a small adjustable wrench or a 5mm hexagonal socket, a box of sandwich bags to put screws and small parts in, and a marker to label the bags.

Back up important information and power down the computer. Remove any external components attached to the computer and then take off the battery. Wear a wrist grounding strap or touch an unpainted metal surface to discharge the static from your body and now you're ready to take the Inspiron apart. Remember to put parts and the screws that hold them together in the same place so you don't get confused during assembly.

Start at the Top
Extract the screws on the hinge cover, open the LCD screen, and insert the plastic wedge or flat-head screwdriver inside the groove on the top-right side of the frame above the keyboard to pry the hinge cover off the computer.

LP156WH1-TLA1 LCD
Acer Aspire One A110 LCD Panel
LP154W01 LCD panel
LP154WX4-TLC5 LCD Panel

Remove the two screws securing the circuit board under the hinge cover and carefully disconnect the flat cable underneath the circuit board. Take the circuit board out of the computer. Extract the keyboard screws and fold the keyboard down over the palm rest. Disconnect the flat cable that connects the keyboard to the motherboard and take the keyboard off the computer. Remove the two screws that secure the video cable to the motherboard, disconnect the cable, and then remove the other six screws that hold the screen to the computer. Remove the two screen screws on the back of the computer and take the screen off. Remove the three long screws that secure the metal panel and turn the computer over to disassemble the bottom.

Disassembling the Bottom of the InspironPull out the floppy disk drive, remove the two screws that hold it to the laptop, and disconnect the flat cable.
LP089WS1 LCD panel
ASUS EEE PC 900 LCD panel
Dell 910 mini 9 LCD panel
ACER 6920 LCD Panel

Take the floppy disk drive off the computer. Extract the two screws that secure the hard drive cage (another metal case) to the motherboard. Remove the speakers and then take the hard drive cage off the computer. Take the screws out of the central processing unit fan and take the fan off. Extract the screws that hold the motherboard to the laptop and then remove the bolts on the parallel port, the serial ports, and the audio ports, and then remove the plastic pieces on the back of the computer and the battery compartment, and the motherboard will come out. When the hinges on your Samsung laptop break, or become rusty, your screen will not open and close properly.

Check the manual that came with your Samsung laptop or navigate to the Samsung support website and find the part number for the LCD screen hinges. While it may seem obvious not to drink coffee directly over the keyboard, a soda opened a few feet away is also unsafe, due to potential splatter. It may only take a drop to cause damage. Some laptops are more spill resistant, but many, including several sub notebooks or UMPCs, on the market are highly moisture sensitive.Laptop or notebook repairs are costly and sometimes replacement is the only option when one is damaged. Additionally, just because a laptop is mobile in design doesn't make it well-suited to be used just anywhere. Follow these tips to prolong the life of your laptop and get the most out of your investment.

B133EW01 LCD Panel Screen(B133EW01 LCD Monitor)
Gateway NX510S LCD Screen

Prolong the life of your laptop by cleaning the system components according to the manufacturer's instructions. This includes using cleaners designed for your laptop. Caution is needed with homemade cleaners, such as distilled water and alcohol, Remove dust frequently as it is one of the laptop's worse enemies. Compressed air is worth the price, sold for less at discount stores, and should last a long time with a laptop. Follow both the product instructions and warnings concerning usage. Ensure that the computer is turned off, and not just in standby, before use.as these may damage the laptop finish or leave a residue on the screen. Save money instead by comparison shopping for computer and LCD safe cleaners.Use a light touch when cleaning the ACER Aspire 6920 LCD Screen and avoid applying cleaner directly to the LCD. With a Phillips screwdriver in hand and a replacement screen, you can do the repairs in under an hour and with little headache.

Dell XPS M140 14.1 inch WXGA GLOSSY A+ LCD Screen(Size: 14.1 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
ACER Travelmate 2400 LCD Monitor(Size: 14.1 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )

Firstly, power off your HP Pavilion DV6000 computer. Examine the bezel of your HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop, which is the perimeter surrounding the HP Pavilion DV6000 LCD display. There will be screws around the edges of the bezel, likely with screw covers on them, depending on your exact Toshiba model. Pop off these screw covers using a knife tip, for example, and then remove all the bezel screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Put these screws in a safe place, such as a small plastic bag, because you will need them later.

Dell XPS M140 14.1 inch WXGA GLOSSY A+ LCD Screen(Size: 14.1 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
ACER Travelmate 2400 LCD Monitor(Size: 14.1 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
ACER Aspire 5050 LCD Panel 14.1-inch(Size: 14.1 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )

Disconnect the inverter cable. The inverter cable plugs into the inverter, which is located directly beside it. The inverter can be found beneath the bezel after it is removed, and directly below the center of the LCD display.Remove the bezel from the HP Pavilion DV6000 display. Pop it off by isolating a corner and peeling it off from there. Be careful not to bend or warp the bezel in the process.

Remove the remaining screws. These screws are located in the metal brackets on either side of the HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop screen. These metal brackets are only visible once the bezel is removed. There should be two screws on each bracket, but this varies by model. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove these screws, and put them in safe place, such as your plastic bag. Pull the LCD display from the back plastic of the computer carefully, then remove the old display altogether. Slide the new display in and reconnect the inverter cable.

Replace the screws into each metal bracket, making sure to hold the new HP Pavilion DV6000 LCD display in place. Then, put the bezel into place over the LCD display. Replace all the screws and make sure they are tightly screwed into the bezel. Power the Toshiba laptop back on and enjoy your newly fixed hardware. Save any documentation that shipped with your replacement LCD display for later perusal or warranty purposes.

<a ?="" href="http://www.daili99.com/gotong.php?u=-ODA4NmNwdWVyaWM%3D-Oi8vd3d3LnN1bnZhbGxleXVzLmNvbS9QYW5lbDE1NEluY2gvSFAtUEFWSUxJT04tRFY2MDAwLTQ3MDc1Lmh0bWw%3D&b=0" lcd="" screen?="" title="HP PAVILION DV6000 15.4" wxga="">HP PAVILION DV6000 15.4"" WXGA LCD SCREEN(Size: 15.4 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
HP Pavilion DV5000 15.4 inch WXGA LCD SCREEN(Size: 15.4 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )

How to Replace the LCD Inverter in a ACER Aspire 5050

In this post I explain how to remove and replace a new LCD Inverter in a ACER Aspire 5050 laptop. Most likely this guide will work for many other Dell laptops.

All liquid crystal displays (LCD) on laptops use a component known as an inverter board to properly display images on the screen. When an inverter board suffers a mechanical failure or is damaged through a power surge your ACER Aspire 5050 LCD screen will simply stop displaying images. If you don't want to buy a new laptop or take the computer to a repair shop you can replace the board on your own. To replace an inverter board on a ACER Aspire 5050you will need to first remove several other components that hide the board.

ACER Aspire 3680 14.1-inch LCD Screen(Size: 14.1 inchs;Resolution: 1280x800 pixels )
<a title="DELL INSPIRON E1405 14.1" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-141-Inch/DELL-E1405-LCD.html" LCD WXGA SCREEN? Close the top LCD display lid and remove any cables connected to the ACER Aspire 5050. Touch a metal object that is connected to the floor to remove the static electricity in your body.Flip the laptop over so that the bottom half is facing towards you. Press the battery latch at the right side of the case to unlock the battery. Pull the battery out of the ACER Aspire 5050.

TOSHIBA SATELLITE U305-S5077 LAPTOP LCD Display(Size: 13.3 inchs Resolution: 1280x800 pixels)
HP PAVILION DV2910US 14.1 INCH WXGA LAPTOP LCD SCREEN GLOSSY( )

Turn the laptop back over. Open the top LCD display lid all of the way so that the entire laptop is laying out flat.Push a flat plastic object such as a guitar pick underneath the right side of the plastic bezel, which is located above the keyboard. Wiggle the pick until the bezel pops off the case. Remove the bezel and set it aside.

Remove the two screws at the top of the keyboard. Disconnect the cable running from the keyboard to the motherboard. Lift the keyboard off the ACER Aspire 5050.Pull out the six rubber bumpers located along the edges of the LCD display's plastic bezel. Remove the six screws located underneath the bumpers. Pull the plastic bezel carefully off the LCD display.Remove the screw holding the inverter board to the bottom edge of the LCD display. Disconnect the cables running from the inverter board to the ports on the motherboard.Set the new inverter board onto the open slot on the ACER Aspire 5050. Attach its screw and the motherboard cables. Push the plastic bezel back onto the LCD display and reconnect the screws and rubber bumpers.

<a title="SONY VAIO PCG-5B1L 14.1" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-141-Inch/SONY-VAIO-PCG-5B1L.html" Glossy? Then carefully remove the screws using the screwdriver by putting the LCD side of the laptop on a flat surface to provide support.Place Popsicle stick or plastic spoon handle behind the plastic bezel Once the screws are removed, gently insert a plastic spoon handle or a Popsicle stick behind the plastic bezel covering your Dell Inspiron 1545 LCD Screen.

LTN141W3 LCD Screen(LTN141W3 LCD Monitor)
LP141WX3-TLN1 LCD Screen(LP141WX3-TLN1 LCD Monitor )
LP154WX4-TLA3 LCD Screen(LP154WX4-TLA3 LCD Monitor)

Work around the bezel to seperate from the backing plate Once inserted, work your way all around the bezel to detach the plastic clips behind it. You should never have to pry too hard to avoid damage.Seperate bezel completely Carefully separate the bezel from the Dell Inspiron 1545 LCD and the backing plate.Set aside bezel Once bezel is separated, you can set it aside out of the work area.

<a title="DELL INSPIRON 1545 15.6" href="http://www.sunvalleyus.com/Panel154Inch/DELL-INSPIRON-1545.html" A+? There is nothing holding it except a small connector on the bottom. You can flip the LCD forward onto the keyboard of your laptop as if flipping a page in a book. Pay attention to the connector, it can be damaged easily if it is pried away from the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. Notice how connector can be removed Now look closely at the connector. If your laptop won't turn on using the battery, plug it into a wall outlet using the power cable that came with the machine. If it powers up, you could have a dead battery which can easily be replaced. See if the battery will take a charge. If not, replace it.

ACER Aspire 6920 LCD Screen(Size: 16.0 inchs;Resolution: 1366*768 pixels)

Then, check if the AC power adapter is working. If there's no indicator on the power cable, check the laptop to see if the "charging" light is lit.Low voltage could result in the laptop's battery being unable to charge or the computer not turning on. Shining a bright light source onto the screen will reveal that the image is there, but the backlight is off. Two capacitors in the power supply have gone bad. Anyone with basic soldering skills should be able to perform this repair, and the cost is quite literally a fraction of buying a new monitor. But buying a new one can save more time.

The cable screw that needs to be removed is circled in red.Remove the back cover and metal shroud under it. There are a number of screws around the outer edge of the back cover. Once you remove those, you'll need to gently pry around the edges of the cover with the flat screwdriver to pop it off. Once you have he back cover removed, you will see a metal shroud covering the electronics. There are a few screws holding Acer Aspire One A110 down as well. Remove the screws and then slide the shroud slightly to the right to remove it. NOTE: There is a black cable running from the monitor's control panel into the shrouded area. You'll need to remove the small screw grounding it to the monitor chassis to unplug it from the circuit board under the shroud.
15.4 Inch LCD Screen(15.4 Inch LCD Screen )
16.0 Inch LCD Screen(16.0 Inch LCD Screen )

Middle is a suitable exact replacement. Bottom is the bad one.Remove the old and install the new capacitors. You'll need to use your soldering iron to remove the old ones, from the bottom of the board. There are several screws holding it down. Be careful when Acer Aspire One A110 removing the board so as not to damage the two connectors attaching it to the green video board.8.9 inch LCD Screen(8.9 inch LCD Screen )
13.3 Inch LCD Screen(13.3 Inch LCD Screen )

The two capacitors needing replacement are circled in red.Locate the bad capacitors. There are two, both on the main (left-side, tan) power supply circuit board. There is a yellow transformer near the top of the board; one of the capacitors will be above it, and the other will be slightly to its left.

You should have enough solder still on the board to re-attach the new capacitors; if not, you can use a little more solder. Remember, when replacing capacitors, always use the same microfarad value and the same or higher voltage. I replaced the 1,000 mfd 16v capacitor with a 1,000 mfd 35v one in my monitor with no problems. Be sure to install the capacitors with the correct polarity, just as you would with a battery. The wide gray or white band on a capacitor is the negative side. The positive side is marked on the board.Replace the Acer Aspire One A110 power supply board, metal shroud and back cover. Make sure that when you replace the board, the two connectors attach to the video board.
Acer Aspire One A110 8.9-inch LCD panel(Size: 8.9 inchs Resolution: 1024*600 pixels)
<a title="ACER ASPIRE 4520-5458 14.1" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-141-Inch/ACER-ASPIRE-4520-5458.html" SCREEN? The metal shroud slides into place as before. Snap down and screw on the back cover, and you're done! Here provide you other choices :
http://www.papatek.com/LCD%2DPanel/

ALWAYS remember to install capacitors with correct polarity. Putting them in backwards will damage them and could damage your monitor.Always make sure that any equipment you plan on opening up is unplugged to prevent electric shock. The area you will be working in on Acer Aspire One A110 monitor carries active high voltage when it is plugged in.You should wear long pants and sleeves to prevent accidental burns if you are inexperienced with a soldering iron.

<a title="SONY VAIO PCG-5B1L 14.1" href="http://www.papatek.com/Panel-141-Inch/SONY-VAIO-PCG-5B1L.html" LCD Glossy? Contact HP if the screen flickers or if vertical lines, a solid green line or incorrect colors appear on the display. The display may be bad and need replacing. The occasional bright or dim pixel is normal. http://www.papatek.com/LCD%2DPanel/

Ensure the AC adapter is connected if you get a blank screen. Many blank screen issues are caused by battery problems. If reconnecting the power solves the problem, you may have an issue with battery charge.Check whether the screen resumes from standby. If it doesn't, confirm that the Windows XP power management is set correctly. Displays sometimes time out and don't recover. This problem is fixed in Windows XP Service Pack 2. Install Microsoft Windows Service Pack 2. In the Windows Control Panel Security Settings, enable automatic updates.

Close and reopen Windows Media Player if the normal video display resolution alters to a different setting.
