Step 1Locate the VGA Port on your TV. Most newer model televisions have one on the rear of the TV. It will be trapezoidal and blue with the exact same number of pin holes as there are pins on your VGA cable.
Step 2Plug in one end of the VGA cable into the VGA port on the back of your computer. Make sure that all of the pins are lined up correctly, and never force the connection.
Step 3Plug in the other end of the cable into the VGA port on the back of the TV. Again, never force a connection.
Step 4Power on the computer and the TV.
